Day 1: Into the Jungle & First Fishing Session

Your trip begins in Iquitos with a boat transfer along the Amazon River into more isolated fishing zones. As you move away from the city, the environment shifts—less traffic, more untouched water, and better fishing conditions.

Once in position, you’ll begin targeting peacock bass with an experienced local guide who understands structure, feeding patterns, and how to consistently find active fish.

Throughout the day, you’ll rotate between productive fishing spots—tight channels, submerged structure, and hidden lagoons—maximizing opportunities for strikes.

By the end of the day, you’ll set up in a true jungle environment. This is not a lodge-based experience—it’s raw, simple, and fully immersed in the Amazon.

Day 2: Early Bite & Final Push

You’ll start early, taking advantage of peak feeding hours when peacock bass are most aggressive.

The second day is all about refining the approach—adjusting locations, techniques, and timing based on conditions to stay on active fish.

While peacock bass is the primary target, you may also encounter other Amazon species, adding to the unpredictability of the experience.

After the final session, you’ll begin the return journey by boat back to Iquitos—closing out a short but high-impact expedition.
