A 3 day peacock bass fishing charter in Iquitos Peru provides a more complete Amazon fishing experience, allowing anglers to access additional fishing zones and build consistency over multiple days. With more time on the water, the chances of locating active fish and refining techniques increase significantly.
Located in the Peruvian Amazon, Iquitos offers access to rivers and tributaries where peacock bass thrive alongside other freshwater species. This format is ideal for anglers looking to move beyond a quick trip and experience more productive fishing conditions.
Your trip begins in Iquitos with a boat transfer into more isolated fishing areas along the Amazon and its tributaries. As you move away from populated zones, conditions improve—less pressure, more active fish, and better structure.
Once in position, you’ll begin targeting peacock bass immediately, working shorelines, submerged structure, and narrow channels where these fish ambush prey.
By the end of the day, you’ll set up camp in the jungle—fully off-grid, positioned close to productive fishing zones to maximize time on the water.
This is the core of the experience—a full day dedicated entirely to fishing.
You’ll start early, hitting peak feeding windows, and continue working multiple locations throughout the day. With more time on the water, your guide can adjust strategy based on conditions—water levels, bait activity, and fish behavior.
Expect a mix of techniques and environments: lagoons, blackwater channels, and deeper river edges—each offering different opportunities for aggressive strikes.
This is where consistency starts to build, and where anglers typically see their best action.
Another night is spent in the jungle, keeping you close to the next day’s fishing zones.
Your last morning is focused on one final fishing session—making the most of early activity before heading out.
With two full days of experience behind you, this session is more targeted—refined, efficient, and often productive.
After wrapping up, you’ll begin the return journey by boat back to Iquitos, transitioning out of the jungle and back toward the city.
