Your trip begins in Iquitos with a boat transfer into remote fishing zones. As you move away from populated areas, pressure drops and conditions improve.
You’ll begin fishing shortly after arrival, targeting peacock bass along structure, shorelines, and tight channels.
Camp is set in the jungle, positioned close to productive water.
An early start puts you on the water during peak feeding hours.
You’ll rotate through multiple environments—tributaries, lagoons, and deeper channels—adjusting based on fish activity and water conditions.
Consistency begins to build as you cover more ground.
With more time behind you, the approach sharpens.
You’ll push deeper into less pressured areas, dialing in patterns—structure, timing, and presentation.
This is often where quality fish start to show.
By now, everything comes together—access, timing, and experience.
You’ll focus on the most productive zones, maximizing time on active fish and capitalizing on what’s working.
This is typically one of the strongest fishing days of the trip.
Your last morning is focused on one final push, taking advantage of early activity.
After wrapping up, you’ll return by boat to Iquitos—closing out five full days of fishing in the Amazon.
