Your journey begins in Iquitos with a ground transfer to Nauta, followed by a boat ride deep into the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve—the gateway to one of the most untouched ecosystems in Peru.
As you enter the reserve, wildlife sightings begin—river birds, monkeys, and your first chance to spot pink river dolphins.
You’ll explore lagoons and jungle trails with your guide, learning about the ecosystem, plant life, and how to read the rainforest.
By evening, you’ll settle into a basic jungle camping setup or local-style accommodation—fully immersed in the environment.
The day starts early, when the jungle is most active.
You’ll head out for wildlife observation by boat or canoe, followed by a guided jungle walk where you’ll learn about medicinal plants, animal tracks, and survival elements of the rainforest.
Additional activities may include piranha fishing and deeper exploration of remote waterways.
After the morning session, you’ll begin the return journey by boat and vehicle back to Iquitos—completing a short but immersive Amazon experience.
We require a 50% deposit to hold your reservation that can be made with any major credit card, when we receive your payment we will send you a payment confirmation via email. The remaining balance will be due at the time of (or before) your arrival to Iquitos.
